TAV Tibetan Language & Culture Summer Camp 2018
August 5th, 2018: Tibetan Association of Vermont organized a week long Tibetan language & culture summer camp for kids age above 6 years old, funded by The Tibet Fund, New York in partnership with the Office of Tibet, Washington, D.C. The week started from July 23rd to July 28th, 2018. The camp was held at Edmund middle school, Burlington, VT. A total of fourteen children participated in the summer camp. A week long camp went successful with the help of board members of TAV and the parents of participating children. Especially thanks to the mentor Lama K. Sonam La from Boston, who teach Tibetan language and culture; and Migmar Tsering La, a Tibetan culture song & dance instructor.
Attached the slide show of week long summer camp and video of last day potluck gathering.
